Constância is a charming town with a rich history and culture, surrounded by beautiful landscapes, and it’s a great destination for those who love nature, history and outdoor activities.
The castle was built in the 12th century by the Knights Templar, and it is considered one of the most important medieval castles in Portugal. The castle is a well-preserved example of the military architecture of the Middle Ages, with its walls, towers, and battlements all in excellent condition.
The visit will be subject to availability of the boat transfer to take us to the Castle. it depend on weather and river conditions.
The city of Tomar has a well-preserved old town, with narrow streets, traditional houses, and monuments such as the 16th-century Synagogue and the Church of Santa Maria do Olival, where it is said that the founder of the Knights Templar in Portugal, Gualdim Pais, is buried.

The Convent of Christ was founded in the 12th century by the Knights Templar, and it is considered to be one of the most important Gothic-Manueline monuments in Portugal. The complex includes the Church of the Holy Trinity, the Chapter House, and the Cloister of the Lazarus, all of which are open to visitors.
The aqueduct was built in the 16th century to provide water to the Convent of Christ, and it is considered to be one of the most important examples of Renaissance engineering in Portugal.
