Best tour company ever We booked with Desirable Portugal tours to visit Obidos and Nazare. We had Miguel as our guide and I would highly recommend this tour company. What a fabulous day we had and he was so accommodating and knowledgeable which made the tour so much more interesting! Go with these guys and you will not be disappointed!

Private Transfer and Tour - Excellent!!! We had an amazing day with Leonel and Desirable Portugual Tours! We traveled from Porto to Lisbon getting off the beaten track to explore a small Schist Village called Cerdeira and then onto Tomar to see the Convent of Christ and the Kinghts Templars Castle, alongside a few extra stops in the town. Leonel is very knowledgeable and passionate about all things Portugal and shared information about the country and the surrounding countryside as we travelled. Leonel is very considerate and took great care of us ensuring our comfort and safety. His driving is above excellent. I would highly recommend Leonel and his company without hesitation.

Unique winery harvest experience with a total pro UNIQUE EXPERIENCE ALERT!Leonel Rodrigues really did it this time!!!! For those of you (us) that TRULY want unique experiences, you should try harvesting grapes at Quinta da Folgorasa vineyard. We started our day in the fields trimming the vines and filling up our buckets. We had the opportunity to stomp grapes (optional). Then we had a behind the scenes tour with the master winemaker that was absolutely fantastic. Lots of tastings of the different varietals at various stages of the process. Followed by an excellent lunch overlooking the beautiful grounds. WOW. What a great day. Can't recommend this enough. Thank you Leonel for an experience we will remember forever.

Best Off the Beaten Track tour ever! I asked Leonel about doing a tour of off beat sites outside Lisbon, places where tourists are scarce, and gave him a couple of places we wanted to visit. He sent me an itinerary that sounded perfect and our tour turned out to be exactly what we asked for. It was fun, educational, and varied, withvno crowds, and definitely off the beaten track sites. Leonel is knowledgeable about all things Portugal - he shared historical, political, economic, cultural and social information about the country and the surrounding countryside we visited, and was able to answer all our questions. Leonel is smart, funny, considerate and took very good care of us; he went out of his way to ensure our comfort and safety. His driving is above excellent, and he has so many stories to share. Lunch was at a terrific restaurant where we enjoyed cuttlefish for the first time. I highly recommend Leonel, without any hesitation, and when we return for our next trip, will definitely ask him to be our guide.

Exceptional Private Tours! Fully Recommend!! Leonel was an exceptional private tour guide for us in late August. I booked a transfer from Lisbon to Porto to include stops in Tomar and Conimbriga and could not have selected a better itinerary. Leonel was punctual, his vehicle is clean and he is incredibly knowledgeable about the sites planned for the day. He has a deep passion for history that is evident in his tours. This day was one of the best days on our trip, and Conimbriga was probably my most favorite stop. I did a lot of research before our trip and wanted to see and learn while in Portugal. Tomar is a beautiful town and we had a great lunch at a local restaurant (exceptional quality for reasonable prices). We were so pleased with Leonel we asked him for a last minute all day tour of Sintra and surrounding areas for the last full day of our trip. We were lucky he was not booked. We had more of an interest in the history, nature, etc. and were very pleased with a tour outside only of Pena Palace (exceptional gardens and trails( and a fantastic visit to Biester Palace. (inside and out including a snack at the excellent tea room there.) 10 out of 10 recommend Leonel. He will be prepared, drives excellent, and can answer all of your questions. He helped us with multiple pictures along the way. Leonel made our trip to Portugal the most memorable due to his warmth, knowledge, and focus on providing outstanding service.

Sintra We spent a beautiful day in Sintra and its surroundings. The trip was very well planned and organized from the moment we were picked up to the moment we were dropped off at our apartment. Leonel is very knowledgeable, attentive and energetic. Overall we had a perfect trip and HIGHLY recommend Leonel!!!

TWO DAY CUSTOM FABULOUS TOUR TWO DAY CUSTOM TOUR: JUST THE TWO OF US, RETIRED COUPLE FROM US. WE DID ONE DAY MOSTLY IN AND NEAR LISBON AND DID HIT THE FAMOUS BACKERY. WE WE LARGELY AVOIDED THE CROWDS AS LEONEL KNEW WHAT TIME TO GO WHERE AND HE TOOK US TO SOME LESS CROWDED BUT VERY INTERESTING PLACES LIKE A PALACE AND A CHURCH THAT ARE NOT OVERRUN WITH TOURISTS. DAY TWO WE WENT OUT INTO THE COUNTRYSIDE, WINE COUNTRY, WINERY AND MANY OTHER RURAL SIGHTS. THIS WAS A FABULOUS EXPERIENCE.

Amazing transfer We just did a hotel transfer from Lisbon to Porto with Desirable Portugal. Leonel is very knowledgeable and his tour included stops Tomar to see the Convent of Christ and the Kinghts Templars Castle, and Conimbriga to see the ancient Roman ruins. He is very knowledgeable and pleasant. If you need to get from Lisbon to Portugal I would highly recommend his company. He went out of his way to meet all our needs.
